How accurate is Nouri's allergen detection?
Nouri's analysis is generated by an AI model that reads the photo you take of the ingredient list. It's useful as a second pair of eyes, but it can miss ingredients, misread faint text, or misinterpret complex labels. If you have a diagnosed allergy, always read the physical label and follow your doctor's guidance. Nouri is not a medical device.
Do you see the photos I scan?
No. Scan images are sent to Google's Gemini AI for analysis and are not retained by us afterwards. Only the structured result (product name, ingredients, macros, allergen flags) is saved to your account so features like pantry and history can work.
How do I cancel Nouri Plus?
Cancellations are managed through your Google Play or Apple account settings — the same place you manage any other subscription on your device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Can I delete my account?
Yes — open the app, go to Profile → § Danger zone → Delete account. Your account and all associated data are removed immediately. If you can't sign in, email brianchan97hk@gmail.com from the address linked to your account. Full details at delete-account.
Why does Nouri need camera access?
To scan nutrition labels. The camera is only used while you are actively on the scan screen — we do not watch, record, or use the camera in the background.
When is the Android version coming?
We're launching on iOS first. Android support is on the roadmap — join the waitlist and we'll let you know when it's ready.
I have a bug or a feature request.
